The front features a push button and a rotatable outlet nozzle. The device puts out 1950 Watts and is able to generate an airflow of as much as 190m3/h. The running time can be adjusted between 20 and 60 seconds to save energy and lower the power consumption if need be.

The heating element is equipped with a thermal fuse, meaning the device automatically shuts off as soon as the MetalDry is manipulated in any way. The hand dryer is installed with discreet wiring in the wall so that users cannot touch the electrical connection. A security lock on the housing is yet another feature for increased safety.
