The Westinghouse Turbo Swirl ceiling fans are equipped with two independent pull chains. However, sometimes a pull cord operation is not possible. A remote control is a convenient alternative as it allows you to change speed and light settings from anywhere in the room. It is also possible to retrofit the remote control kit at a later point in time without much hassle.

Turbo Swirl – Whisper-quiet Westinghouse Ceiling Fan Light
The maximum sound level of the Turbo Swirl reaches 36 dB(A) on high speed. This is equal to whispering and only slightly exceeds the sound level in a quiet room at night-time.
dB(A) specifications are usually measured at a 1 metre distance to the source. Ideally, your head is even further away from the ceiling fan, particularly when sitting or laying down. That is why the Turbo Swirl ceiling fan is ideal for bedrooms, studies and other spaces that call for a quiet motor. At night you can slow down the fan to speed 2 or 1. This will reduce the sound level even further.
The Turbo Swirl ceiling fan has two mounting options. The distance from the ceiling to the blades is 26cm if the drop rod is used. If required, the fan can be dropped down even further with an optional Westinghouse extension rod. When installed without the drop rod, the gap between the ceiling and the blades is reduced to 16cm.
